MEKO-Free Anti-Skinning Agent for Solvent-Based Alkyds
Ascinin® Anti-Skin 0444 is a phenol- and MEKO- and oxime-free anti-skinning agent for oxidatively cured solvent-based low VOC coating systems and pigment pastes. This solution relieves regulatory concerns surrounding MEKO in Europe , Canada , and other regions. MEKO-free anti-skins further enhance sustainability when used with Borchi® OXY-Coat cobalt-free high-performance catalysts for solvent-based short, medium, and long oil alkyd coatings or Borchi® Dragon high-performance cobalt-free catalyst for solvent-based high solids, long oil alkyd coatings. Other MEKO-free anti-skins include: ● Ascinin® Anti-Skin 0445 ● Ascinin® Anti-Skin 1240 ● Borchi® Nox 1640 ● Borchi® Shield .

Dosage
Ascinin® Anti Skin 0444 can be added to the system at any stage of the manufacturing process but it is highly recommended to add it as the final addition after driers. Pre-dilution is not recommended. The amount of Ascinin® Anti Skin 0444 depends on the type of binder and quantity of the driers used.

Protect from the effects of weathering and store at temperatures between 5 and 30 °C. Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product.
