Construction Industry

  • Concrete & Cement grouts additive, high performance concrete: Bridge, well, building & road construction through denser water-free structures, self-compacting concretes.
  • As stabilizer and sedimentation reducer.
  • Concrete surface modification (Finishing): Reduction of sanding / dust formation by reaction with the free calcium in the concrete surface by forming of further C-S-H phases (calcium silicate hydrate).
  • Drying & Drainage: Brickwork/Stonewall drying by pore closure - Drainage barriers.
  • Ground Consolidation: Creation of soft gel-structure for the consolidation of sandy subsoils by closing of the finest soil cracks & capillaries.
  • Oilfield drilling: Cementing in oilfield drilling, securing of drill holes.
  • Shotcrete additive: Control of the flow behavior of concrete sludge.
  • Tunnel construction: Consolidating of loose rock layers and closure of finest cracks & capillaries.

Paints, Varnishes & Pigments

  • Adhesion and scratch resistance: As an additive to paint formulations for increasing the scratch and abrasion resistance and the breaking strength for various substrates such paper, metal, wood.
  • Heat- and corrosion protection: Heat-resistant paint systems and areas exposed to weather conditions such as moisture and salty atmospheres.
  • Paints based on organic solvents: Binder in organic paint systems.
  • Waterborne Varnishes & Paints: Improve the penetration and wetting of e.g. wood and subsequent increase in scratch resistance.

Foundry- & Investment Casting Industry

  • Binder: Combined with additives as binders in prefabricated molded bodies filled with fillers.
  • Dipping masses: For the primary cover &, if necessary, also for the secondary coverings of ceramic molds & cores.
  • Precision Investment Casting: Wax casting or shaw process, application for highly complex castings in automotive, engine & aircraft construction as well as medical fields such as imnlants & instruments
