Exolit® AP 422 is a fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate (phase II) produced by a special method. The product is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. It is colorless, non-hygroscopic, and non-flammable. Additionally, it is a non-halogenated flame retardant with a favorable environmental and health profile.
Exolit® AP 423
Chemical Name:
Ammonium Polyphosphate
Chemical Family:
Polyphosphates
Functions:
Flame Retardant
Labeling Claims:
Sustainable, Low Toxicity, Biodegradable, Halogen-free, Non-Flammable
Compatible Polymers & Resins:
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Phenolic Resins, Polypropylenes (PP), Thermoplastic Polyolefins (TPO), Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Epoxies (EP), Unsaturated Polyester (UPE), Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPV), Polyurethanes (PU)
Exolit® AP 423 is a very fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate produced by a special method. The crystal modification is phase II. The product is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. It is a white powder, halogen-free, and non-flammable. Exolit® AP 423 imparts a good flame-retardant effect to adhesives and sealants when it is incorporated into the base formulation at a rate of 10 - 20 %.
Exolit® AP 435
Chemical Name:
Ammonium Polyphosphate
Chemical Family:
Polyphosphates
Functions:
Flame Retardant
Labeling Claims:
Sustainable, Biodegradable, Environmentally Friendly, Halogen-free, Non-Flammable
Compatible Polymers & Resins:
Polypropylenes (PP), Epoxies (EP), Unsaturated Polyester (UPE), Polyurethanes (PU), Cellulose & Cellulosics
Features:
Non-Flammable, Low Water Solubility, Non-Hygroscopic, Good Thermal Stability, Biodegradable, Non-Halogenated, Low Viscosity
Exolit® AP 435 is a fine-particle ammonium polyphosphate (phase II) optimized for low viscosity in aqueous suspensions and intumescent coatings. The product is largely insoluble in water and completely insoluble in organic solvents. It is colorless, non-hygroscopic, and non-flammable. It is specifically designed for low viscosity in aqueous suspension, low water solubility, and a low acid number.
