Classic Colors was formed in 1989 to formulate and manufacture offset printing inks. As a new company we looked for niche markets and to offer technically superior products in difficult areas such as fluorescent and metallic printing. Waterless printing was in its infancy in the early 90's, and the only source of ink was from Japan. We worked with waterless printers in the UK and many in Scandinavia to develop a full range of waterless inks. We market our waterless inks to many countries worldwide and 5 years ago added waterless UV curing inks to our extensive range. Every type of ink that is available to the conventional offset printer can now be supplied in a waterless formulation. Although waterless inks are the main focus of our development projects, we have not forgotten conventional offset, and continue to improve our ranges of fluorescent and metallic inks for this process.

NEVADA PC LED-UV YELLOW (PY9786) inks are specially formulated to give excellent adhesion on PVC when printing and laminating plastic cards. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that all materials and production conditions produce adequate adhesion in all layers of plastic cards produced.

NEVADA PC LED-UV MAGENTA (PR9787) inks are specially formulated to give excellent adhesion on PVC when printing and laminating plastic cards. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that all materials and production conditions produce adequate adhesion in all layers of plastic cards produced.

NEVADA CLASSICURE LA LED-UV YELLOW (PY9825) is a special wax free inks which is specially formulated for Semi Rotary label presses equipped with LED-UV curing systems, including machines with Anilox inking. They accept foil stampable UV lacquers and hence are suitable for use with most foil stamping products. To compliment this series we are able to offer Nevada Classicure Basic spot colors in the same LA formulation.

SAHARA CLASSICURE PS LED-UV CYAN (PB9722) is a standard process inks which are suitable for use on most makes of waterless ready presses equipped with LED-UV curing systems including machines with Anilox systems. They can be printed on most substrates, including coated and uncoated papers and boards. They are a tried and tested formulation available from stock.

NEVADA CLASSICURE LA LED-UV DENSE BLACK (PN9829)

SAHARA PC LED-UV BLACK (PN9963) is used where maximum adhesion and scratch resist are required these inks will usually provide the required result.Because they contain maximum amounts of silicone and waxes we do not recommend them for plastic card production where the printed core plastic is laminated between two sheets of adhesive coated overlay film.
