CLiQSMART® 1031 is a100% polyglycol based defoamer for aqueous systems. The silicone and mineral oil free defoamer shows very high efficiency and is typically applied in low-to-mid gloss pigmented aqueous coatings, adhesives and ink systems.

CLiQSMART 1031 requires moderate incorporation shear forces and can be used in both the grinding and let-down stage of a manufacturing process.

CLiQSMART 1031 has much lower influence on other system properties compared todefoamers based on siliconeor mineral oil. The product shows excellentefficiency to reduce both production as well as application foam.

CLiQSMART 1031 shows goodcompatibility and can be used both the grinding and let-down stage of a manufacturing process.In most cases the defoamer addition is split between the grinding and let-down stage. A loading level between 0.1-0.5% on total is typically sufficient to achieve the desired defoaming effect. The optimum loading level should be determined for each system individually.

CLiQSMART 1031 is compatible with most aqueous binders used in thecoating, adhesive or ink industry.However, it is suggested to evaluate the compatibility of the product in each individual formulation.
