Phototoxicity
PhytoDefense CLRTM was applied at different concentrations (1.0 – 100 mg/ml) on EpiDerm skin models for 24 hours and further 1 hour in absence and presence of a non-toxic dose of UVA light. One day after treatment the cytotoxicity was analyzed (MTT-Test) and compared to controls. In this study PhytoDefense CLRTM showed no phototoxic effects.
