Technical Details & Test Data
- Concentration Control
Dropper Method:
- Dropper Factor: 0.5
- Measure 10mL of the in-use cleaner into a small flask using a 10mL disposable syringe.
- Add 4-5 drops of Bromophenol Blue indicator to the cleaner, swirl to mix. Sample should turn purple.
- Add 0.5N HCl dropwise to until sample turns yellow
- Concentration = Drops of 0.5N HCl X Dropper Factor
Drops of 0.5N HCl % Concentration 8 4 10 5 12 6 14 7
Concentration measurement using a refractometer is only recommended for checking concentration of a new bath or for make-up solutions.
- Dropper Factor: 0.5
