Creative Materials 117-23(S)

117-23(S) is a medical grade, electrically conductive ink, coating and adhesive suitable for application by stamping, screen printing, dipping and syringe dispensing. This product features excellent adhesion to Kapton, Mylar, and a variety of other surfaces. Unlike conventional conductive materials, this product is very resistant to flexing and creasing. Some uses for 117-23(S) include, but are not limited to, EKG and Tens electrode applications, emi/rfi shielding of polyimide flexible circuits, polymer thick film circuitry, and membrane switches. 117-23(S) is a chemically resistant version of 117-23.

Suggested Handling & Curing

117-23(S) is ready to use as supplied. Further thinning may be accomplished by adding small amounts of CMI Thinner # 102-03 and/or CMI #113-12. Prior to using, be certain to resuspend silver. Best properties, for most applications, result when cured for several minutes at 125°C. Good properties are obtained on a variety of substrates by dry and curing at temperatures ranging from 110°C to 180°C. Not recommended for applications that cannot cure above 110°C. End user is advised to experimentally determine temperature and time best suited for individual applications.
