MULTITROPE 1250A is a particularly effective hydrotrope for alcohol alkoxylates such as the SYNPERONICTM LF/RA and SYNPERONIC NCA series. The following illustrates MULTITROPE 1250A hydrotroping efficiency with SYNPERONIC LF/RA 270:

The hydrotrope efficiency was determined by titrating the hydrotrope into a solution of 8% builder (composed of 30% sodium metasilicate, 30% sodium tripolyphosphate and 40% sodium carbonate) and 2% SYNPERONIC LF/RA 270.

Solubility

MULTITROPE 1250A is compatible in the following systems:

  • Soluble in 10% sodium hydroxide.
  • Soluble in 20% potassium hydroxide.
  • Soluble in 20% tetrapotassium pyrophosphate.
Stability

MULTITROPE 1250A is compatible in stable sodium hypochlorite and can be used in a wide range of cleaning formulations containing sodium hypochlorite.

MULTITROPE 1250A does not affect the stability of the sodium hypochlorite as the following graph illustrates:
