- Permalose™ TM offers a number of fiber finish benefits to 100% polyester and polyester blend fabrics.
- Increased fiber hydrophilicity makes the fabric more breathable, thus improving the comfort in wear.
- Comfort is enhanced further by the elimination of static build up, reducing the tendency of fabrics to cling.
- The modification of the fiber surface also promotes soil release and markedly reduces soil redeposition, therefore maintaining color brightness for longer.
- Comfort in wear and improved cleaning are factors which affect all polyester-based garments, but these properties present a particular advantage in sportswear applications.
- Permalose™ TM help optimize the fiber dispersion in the aqueous mix. The durability of the finish ensures it is retained on the fiber during the mixing process.
- Permalose™ TM can be applied to polyester filling fibers to reduce fiber/fiber friction, resulting in softer, more luxurious pillows.
- Application of Permalose™ TM does not adversely affect the flammability of the fiber (unlike silicone-based products) and its durability means that pillows will stay softer for longer
- Permalose™ TM is a durable finish for polyester fiber. It delivers antistatic and softening performance in processing and due to the durable nature of the finish, these effects are also conferred to the finished fabric.
