The Synperonic NCA series is a range of alcohol alkoxylate surfactants that combine excellent wetting and detergency with low or reduced foam. In addition these products offer 'no compromise' environmental performance and carry no "dangerous to the environment" classification.
The low foam and good wetting properties make the Synperonic NCA series ideal for products such as industrial and household dish wash, industrial and household hard surface cleaning or formulations that require excellent toxicological properties and superior performance.Synperonic NCA range of non classified alkoxylate co-polymers bring wetting performance to a formulation at a range of cloud points. With minimal irritancy and risk phrases Synperonic NCAs are a green alternative for low foaming and defoaming surfactants where performance matters.
Synperonic NCA products are low foaming green alkoxylate copolymers. With minimal risk phases and low to no irritancy, Synperonic NCA products bring extra care to consumers. This range can produce good surface cleaning formulations where low foam and long periods of skin contact is required.
Synperonic NCA products are low foam and foam control wetting agents with minimal risk phases. Ideal for use by consumers where prolonged contact is possible, these surfactants are mild and cause next to no irritation. Performance is not sacrificed however; with excellent dirt removal still provided for low foam rinse-off formulations, glass cleaning and hard surface wipes.

Foaming Performance
The dynamic foam height for each of the products in the Synperonic NCA series has been assessed at 30°C at an active concentration of 0.1 %w/w in water. Foam height was measured under recirculation (dynamic) conditions for 3 minutes followed by settled (static) conditions for a further 5 minutes.

De-Foaming Performance
The de-foaming performance of Synperonic NCA 810 has been assessed in the following formulation.
Synperonic NCA 810 30% Isopropanol 10% Citric Acid 5% Water 55% The performance was measured at a concentration of 600ppm in the presence of a proteinaceous soil using a dynamic foam test. Again performance was measured under both dynamic and static conditions.

Synperonic NCA 810 provides outstanding de-foaming performance compared with the blank. This is maintained across the temperature range under both static and dynamic foaming conditions.
De-Foaming Efficiency
In automatic dish wash applications, the generation of foam can have a detrimental effect on the efficiency of the rotating wash arm. The ability of the Synperonic NCA series to maximize efficiency in the presence of a proteinaceous soil has been assessed at a concentration of 100ppm. The efficiency figures quoted have been generated by comparison to a standard test using water only (i.e. maximum efficiency).

The Synperonic NCA series are highly effective wetting agents, both on hard surfaces and fabrics. This performance has been measured at a concentration 0.1%w/w in water.
