Boratherm™ SA 0080 spherical alumina particles are made from a special fusion process using high-quality ground alumina material. Boratherm™ SA grades are used in various applications because of their high thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and low thermal expansion. Due to the sphericity of the particles and the possibility to combine grades, one can obtain very high packing densities, resulting in formulations with excellent thermal conduction while maintaining low viscosity and easy application.

JetFil® H290 is an off-white talc recommended for improving stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in polymer applications. It is used in polypropylene applications to achieve maximum stiffness at loading levels as high as 20%, 40%, or higher. It is commonly used in wood-plastic composites (WPC).

SNOBRITE® 75HB is a white extender pigment that is produced from air-floated intermediate kaolins. With a plate-like crystal structure and high aspect ratio, SNOBRITE® provides good reinforcing properties, increased hardness and stiffness, and improved resistance to abrasion and tear. Its tendency to slowly build viscosity makes SNOBRITE® a cost-effective formulating tool to enhance performance without adversely affecting production rates. Its additions also improve critical working properties, including extrusion, calendaring, mold release, and handling.

JetFil® V625C is an extremely platy, fine talc product that is beneficiated to maximize stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in plastics applications. The particle size distribution and top size of this product are engineered and controlled to provide maximum impact strength and the best balance of stiffness and impact resistance. JetFil® V625C is compacted to enhance compounding throughput and reduce dust generation.

Securoc® C10 F11.0 is produced from a carefully selected, naturally occurring, platy sedimentary mineral that consists of partially hydrated magnesium-calcium carbonate. The standardized quality of Securoc® C10 is guaranteed by means of an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. Securoc® C10 is a very fine, platy-shaped filler that is flame and smoke retardant. In addition, this product works as an effective acid scavenger in halogen-containing polymers. Securoc® B products are developed as functional halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) fillers for plastics and rubbers. Their flame retardant activity is primarily due to the endothermic decomposition of metal hydroxide (the heat sink effect) and the simultaneous release of water vapor. This reaction starts at about 300°C. Besides being flame retardant, they also possess a strong smoke-suppressing ability. These flame retardants are used in applications where processing temperatures exceed 200ºC, making ATH unsuitable. Its main uses are in wire and cable compounds, polyolefin roofing membranes, and electrical appliances based on thermoset compounds.

Securoc® D 020 is composed of 50 - 70% huntite, 30- 50% hydromadnesite, 1 - 2% stearic acid, and less than 1% quartz. It is a white solid that decomposes at more than 482°F and has a pH of 9 - 10. This product has various consumer uses.

This product is used in applications where heat-dissipation and fire-retardancy are critical properties, e.g., in thermal interface materials (including electronic vehicle battery heat management), casting resins for power transformers, and potting and encapsulating materials in electric and electronic applications. The particle size distribution of the Boratherm™ SG 200LVS is already optimized, so blends with other finer or coarser aluminum-containing grades are no longer needed to obtain the optimum packing density, resulting in the right balance between flow and thermal conductivity.

JetFil® M300 is a high purity, platy, coarse talc that can be used to improve stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability in polymer applications. It is used in polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC-based applications to improve mechanical properties at loading levels up to 40% or higher. JetFil® M300 is available in densified form to improve feeding, enhance extrusion throughput, and reduce dusting. JetFil® M300 may also be used in rigid packaging, appliances, UTH (under the hood), and wood plastic composites (WPC), where it can provide reduced water diffusion, weight gain and swell in water, loss of elasticity and rupture modulus in moist environments, and improved warpage and creep.

JetFil® 700C is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy, ultrafine talc with excellent top-size control that is recommended for excellent stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability, impact strength, and esthetics in high-performance plastics.
