Divinycell® H100
Functions:
Core Material
Chemical Family:
Vinyls, Vinylics & Vinyl Derivatives
Divinycell H provides excellent mechanical properties to low weight. The unique IPN chemical structure, yields impressive mechanical performance to a low weight. Divinycell H has been widely used and has a proven track record in virtually every application area where sandwich composites are employed including the marine (leisure, military and commercial), land transportation, wind energy, civil engineering/infrastructure and general industrial markets. Divinycell H is ideal for applications subject to fatigue, slamming or impact loads. Other key features of Divinycell H include consistent high quality, excellent adhesion/peel strength, excellent chemical resistance, low water absorption and good thermal/acoustic insulation. Divinycell H is compatible with virtually all commonly used resin and manufacturing systems.
Divinycell® HCP30
Functions:
Core Material
Chemical Family:
Vinyls, Vinylics & Vinyl Derivatives
Divinycell HCP grade meets the demand for a high performance, low density buoyancy material with excellent characteristics. It is widely used in submarines, subsea buoyancy units, ROVs, diving bells and impact protection structures. As a result of its excellent hydraulic compressive properties and closed cell structure, it has very low buoyancy loss and water absorption under long-term loading conditions. HCP stands for Hydraulic Crush Point and is defined as the point of pressure in Bar, where the material when subjected to an increasing pressure of 1-2 Bar/sec has lost 5% of its initial volume. The design of subsea buoyancy applications is complex and consideration has to be given to the required buoyancy loss and updrift over the expected lifetime and service conditions, with respect to long and short term hydraulic compressive creep, water absorption and hydraulic fatigue. Please contact Diab Technical Services for design proposal.

Divinycell® HP80
Functions:
Core Material
Chemical Family:
Vinyls, Vinylics & Vinyl Derivatives
Divinycell HP has been developed to meet demands in high temperature systems, and low temperature prepreg systems. The unique IPN chemical structure, yields impressive mechanical performance to a low weight. Divinycell HP´s elevated temperature performance also extends to its ‘in service’ life as it will retain a high percentage of its mechanical properties despite exposure to high ambient temperatures. It offers high properties in all significant areas including mechanical performance, elongation to break, ductility, adhesion/peel strength, fracture toughness and dimensional stability. Other key features of Divinycell HP include excellent chemical resistance, low water absorption and good thermal/acoustic insulation.
Divinycell® P150
Functions:
Core Material
Core Type:
Thermoplastic Foam
Chemical Family:
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Divinycell P is a closed-cell PET structural core with excellent fire, smoke and toxicity behavior. It is thermoplastic and recyclable, offering good mechanical properties, high chemical resistance and does not absorb water. Divinycell P is ideal but not limited to applications requiring demanding FST properties like public transport, architecture or commercial marine. Due to its good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures, Divinycell P can be processed with medium temperature pre-preg systems and it is compatible with most commonly used resin and manufacturing systems. Divinycell P is easy to thermoform, cut or mill.
Divinycell® PN115
Functions:
Core Material
Core Type:
Thermoplastic Foam
Chemical Family:
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Divinycell PN is a structural thermoplastic core material perfectly suited in a variety of sandwich applications to increase performance and reduce weight. Divinycell PN is used in industrial, transportation, marine and wind applications. It is easy to machine and has good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for a variety of processes including infusion, prepreg and press bonding. The material has a stable closed cell structure and is insensitive to moisture, decay or rot, making it an excellent substitute for organic materials such as balsa and plywood. High density Divinycell PN (PN200 and PN250) is particularly suited for flooring, decking, local inserts in the way of fittings; either tapped or bolted through and has very good screw retention. Divinycell PN is 100% recyclable.
