Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a partially crystalline, high temperature performance polymer which has a high melting point of approximately 280°C, excellent chemical resistance and is inherently flame retardant. Through the innovative technologies for compounding and polymerization, DIC.PPS realizes superior characteristics as an engineering plastic, and is utilized for various applications such as alternatives to metals and thermoset plastics in automotive,Electrical&Electronic,and Industrial market.

DICSTYRENE comes in two types, GPPS with excellent transparency and HIPS with high impact resistance. They are widely used in fields such as food containers and light electrical components utilizing the characteristics of each.

CLEAPACT is a new gradeof styrene-based copolymer that DIC has developed through an original polymerization technology.This thermoplastic resin possesses an excellent balance of transparency and impactstrength,in addition to a good processability.

HYBRANCH is the world's first polystyrene born from the application of DIC's polystyrene synthesizing and hyperbranching techniques. It achieves high strength without impairing moldability with a molecular structure that differs from conventional polystyrene.
