Technical Details & Test Data+
TRANSPLANTER MOLY provides one-half pound of Sodium Molybdate (3.2 ounces of pure Molybdenum) per acre when used at the rate of 1 gallon per acre.Molybdenum is recommended for Burley tobacco on soils testing less than pH 6.4. Availability of soil Molybdenum is closely related to soil acidity and generally decreases as soil becomes more acid. The need for Molybdenum in Tobacco arises from the high level of commercial fertilizer used in Tobacco production which tends to increase soil acidity during the growing season. On some soils, addition of Molybdenum has been shown to produce higher leaf yields, better early growth and lower manganese toxicity.
