DuPont RL897 is a low viscosity polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based lubricant developed to meet the challenging lubrication needs of high-performance compressors. Designed for use with refrigerant R-134a in both fixed and variable displacement compressors of swash plate and other designs. DuPont RL897 exhibits higher phase separation temperatures in R-134a, which allows its use in both orifice tube and thermal expansion valve (TXV) A/C systems.
