Eastman™ N-Propyl Alcohol (N-Propanol)
Eastman™ n-Propanol (n-propyl alcohol), a three-carbon straight chain oxo alcohol, is a medium boiling, colorless liquid that is widely used in flexographic and other printing ink applications. It has a very mild odor, similar to that of ethanol and is completely soluble in water. It is useful in organic synthesis, as a chemical intermediate, and as a coating solvent. Eastman™ n-Propanol helps balance the drying and flow characteristics in a variety of surface coating applications. The chemical substances for this product are listed as Inert Ingredients Permitted for Use in Nonfood Use Pesticide Products, and in Food Use Pesticide Products with limitations, under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Eastman™ Methyl Isobutyl Ketone
Eastman™ Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) is a medium-evaporating solvent. It is an active solvent for many synthetic resins including cellulosics, vinyl copolymers, acrylics, alkyds, polyesters, and epoxies. It is very useful in developing high-solids coatings because of its combination of high solvent activity and low density. In addition to its use as a solvent for inks, coatings, and adhesives, MIBK is used as an extraction agent in the dewaxing and deoiling of petroleum products. It is also used in the manufacture of germicides, fungicides, pharmaceuticals, electroplating solutions, and as a denaturant in many ethanol formulations. The chemical substances for this product are listed as Inert Ingredients Permitted for Use in Nonfood Use Pesticide Products, and in Food Use Pesticide Products with limitations, under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Eastman
Eastman™ Isobutyl Isobutyrate
Eastman™ IBIB (Isobutyl Isobutyrate) is an economical retarder solvent that is used in nitrocellulose lacquers, coatings for plastic substrates, and high-solids coatings. It is a slow-evaporating solvent with good flow and leveling characteristics, and good blush resistance. It is an economical, urethane grade, active solvent for nitrocellulose. The low surface tension of IBIB is valuable in applications where improved wetting of the substrate is needed. With low water miscibility, IBIB is an excellent retarder solvent for moisture-sensitive coatings such as 2-K polyurethanes. IBIB has high electrical resistance, which is helpful in adjusting the resistivity of coatings applied using electrostatic spray equipment. The chemical substances for this product are listed as Inert Ingredients Permitted for Use in Nonfood Use Pesticide Products under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Eastman
Eastman™ Ethyl Acetate 85-88%
Eastman™ Ethyl Acetate, 85-88% is a colorless, fragrant, low-boiling, fast evaporating liquid. It is used in a wide range of coating applications, excluding those in which alcohols are to be avoided. Eastman markets ethyl acetate in two purity grades: 85%-88% and 99% (urethane grade).

Eastman
Eastman™ F61HC
Chemical Family: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Polyesters
Polymer Name: Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
F61HC is a low IV (0.59 dL/g) homopolymer PET that is readily crystallized by both thermal and mechanical processes. It is a cost-effective option that continues to surpass expectations for quality, efficiency and convenience in a wide array applications.

Eastman
Eastman™ 1223
Chemical Family: Polyesters
Polymer Name: Copolyester Resin
Eastman™ copolyester 1223 is a clear, amorphous material. Because of its clarity, toughness and good melt strength at processing temperatures, it is useful in a variety of processing techniques including film and sheet extrusion. Eastman™ Copolyester 1223 may be colored using color concentrates, dry colors or liquid colorants.
