Lewisol™ 29-M resin is a glycero-ester of rosin modified with maleic anhydride. This is a hard, thermoplastic resin with particularly low color that offers excellent solubility, good solvent evaporation, good resistance to oxidation and low viscosity in solution for making RS Nitrocellulose lacquers. These and other properties make Lewisol™ 29-M resins particularly suitable for use in lacquers, low temperature heat cured enamels; RS Nitrocellulose based printing inks, and grease resistant coatings.
