PAMOLYN
PAMOLYN™ 150 Fatty Acid
Chemical Family: Monoacids
Pamolyn™ 150 fatty acid is a commercial grade fatty acid derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is a low odor, pale, color stable, low titer, oily liquid. Compared with commercial grades from other vegetable or animal sources, Pamolyn™ 150 fatty acid is high in oleic acid and low in saturated acid content. Unlike tallow source oleic acids, it is free of lower molecular weight acids. All fatty acids in Pamolyn™ 150 fatty acid are of C18 origin. Pamolyn™ 150 fatty acid is designed for a broad range of applications. Typical uses, when it is converted to soaps, sulfonated products, and other derivatives, include: textile processing aids, automotive additives and mold lubricants, agents for production of synthetic rubber, surfactants for a variety of other uses, and flotation reagents.

PAMOLYN
PAMOLYN™ 240
Chemical Family: Monoacids
Pamolyn™ 240 fatty acid is a linoleic acid-rich blend derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is a pale, oily liquid with low odor, and is highly resistant to discoloration on exposure to heat and light. Because of the near absence of saturated fatty acids, this product has an exceptionally low titer. Pamolyn™ 240 fatty acid contains a low percentage of unsaponifiables and resin acids. Pamolyn™ 240 fatty acid is designed especially for the protective coatings industry for production of pale, color retentive, fast drying alkyds and epoxy resin ester coatings. Other uses include applications that require both wetting and drying properties, such as printing ink vehicles and caulking and sealant compositions

PAMOLYN
PAMOLYN™ 300 Fatty Acid
Chemical Family: Monoacids
Pamolyn™ 300 fatty acid is a conjugated linoleic acid and linoleic acid-rich blend derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. The conjugated linoleic component is produced synthetically by an Eastman process that isomerizes 9, 12-nonconjugated linoleic acid to the 9, 11- and 10, 12-conjugated forms, and controls the ratio of cis-trans to trans-trans isomers. Outstanding for low odor, pale color, and color stability, Pamolyn™ 300 fatty acid contains 38 to 42% conjugated diene fatty acids. Compared with natural linoleic acids of similar linoleic acid content, it is considerably more reactive. In the production of protective coating resins, it contributes fast bodying, and in applications of such coatings, the films have excellent surface and through dry. Uses include production of epoxy resin esters; modifiers of styrenated, vinylated, and methacrylated alkyds; chemical intermediates for reactions involving conjugated unsaturation; and applications wherever dehydrated castor oil and/or fatty acids are used.

PAMOLYN
PAMOLYN™ 100
Chemical Family: Monoacids
Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid is an exceptionally high purity grade of oleic acid derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is a low odor, essentially water white, low titer, oily liquid. Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid is a unique commercial fatty acid in that it contains, typically, 90% oleic acid, all of which is in the naturally occurring cis-isomer form. Because Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid contains only a low percentage of polyunsaturated acids, it has excellent oxidation resistance and color stability. Saturated fatty acids and unsaponifiables in Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid are also outstandingly low. Pamolyn™ 100 is used in numerous cosmetic and personal care applications, functioning as an emulsifier or surfactant.

PAMOLYN
PAMOLYN™ 125 Oleic Acid
Pamolyn™ 125 oleic acid is a high purity, commercial grade oleic acid derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is a low odor, pale, color stable, low titer, oily liquid. Compared with commercial grades from other vegetable or animal sources, Pamolyn™ 125 oleic acid is high in oleic acid and low in saturated acid content. Unlike tallow source oleic acids, it is free of lower molecular weight acids. All fatty acids in Pamolyn™ 125 oleic acid are of C18 origin. Pamolyn™ 125 oleic acid is designed for a broad range of applications. Typical uses, when it is converted to soaps, sulfonated products, and other derivatives, include: textile processing aids, automotive additives and mold lubricants, agents for production of synthetic rubber, and surfactants for a variety of other uses.
