TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 1070
Chemical Family: Hydrocarbons
Tacolyn™ 1070 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for acrylic latex polymers used in label, tape, and construction adhesive applications. As a modifier for these latexes, Tacolyn™ 1070 enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. It promotes cohesive strength and offers good moisture resistance when used in pressure sensitive adhesives. It may be used in clear film label applications due to its good color retention and oxidation resistance.

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 3100
Chemical Family: Esters
Tacolyn™ 3100 resin ester dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, rosin ester dispersion prepared from the pentaerythritol ester of hydrogenated rosin. It is recommended as a tackifier for acrylic latex polymers used in label, tape, and construction applications including clear film label applications. Tacolyn™ 3100 is highly hydrogenated and promotes high temperature performance in waterborne PSAs.

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 3570
Chemical Family: Rosins
Tacolyn™ 3570 Resin Dispersion is an anionic, aqueous, solvent-free, and APE (alkylphenol ethoxylate) free dispersion of a stabilized rosin ester. It is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives based on acrylic polymer emulsions or carboxylated SBR polymer emulsions, where it greatly enhances the tack and peel to polyethylene and carton board

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 3400
Chemical Family: Rosins
Tacolyn™ 3400 resin ester dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic rosin ester dispersion prepared from a highly hydrogenated, high softening point resin. It is recommended for use in food packaging applications such as closures, lidding, and cold seal adhesives, as well as pressure sensitive adhesives that contact food. Tacolyn™ 3400 is also used in adhesives applications requiring higher temperature strength such as in high temperature masking tapes, packaging tapes, and contact adhesives.

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 5002
Chemical Family: Aromatics
Tacolyn™ 5002 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 55% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. It is recommended as a tackifier for natural rubber and styrene butadiene rubber latex polymers used in label, tape, construction, and contact adhesive applications. As a modifier for pressure sensitive label and tape adhesives, Tacolyn™ 5002 provides a good balance of peel and shear and enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates and recycled corrugated board. Tacolyn™ 5002 is recommended for water-based contact adhesives where fast break properties are required as in foam to foam bonding applications.

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 5003
Chemical Family: Aromatics
Tacolyn™ 5003 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 45% solids, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. It is recommended as a single tackifier for anionic polychloroprene latex polymers used in contact adhesive applications. When used as a modifier for contact adhesives, Tacolyn™ 5003 imparts outstanding high temperature performance, excellent contactability and good moisture resistance without the use of a second reinforcing tackifier.

TACOLYN
TACOLYN™ 5070
Chemical Family: Aliphatics
Tacolyn™ 5070 resin dispersion is an aqueous, 50% solids, solvent-free anionic aliphatic hydrocarbon dispersion prepared from a low molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin. It is recommended as a tackifier for isoprene rubber and natural rubber latex polymers used in tape applications. Tacolyn™ 5070 is ideal for low peel applications because it imparts peel strength in small increments relative to resination level. It exhibits good storage and mechanical stability and outstanding stability to acids. Tacolyn™ 5070 is also highly resistant to acids and alkalies.
