OvaPure™ is Ecovatec’s premium powdered egg oil for cosmetic formulations. The powder form reduces the "egg" smell often associated with egg oil and makes it easy to work with in most formulations. Since it contains the emulsifier characteristics of phospholipids, it dissolves quickly in water, and is extremely stable in both o/w and w/o emulsions. It can also encapsulate water or oil soluble active ingredients in a water-based lotion or cream, delivering them deeper into the skin.

It can be used in microemulsion technology to encapsulate fat-soluble (water-insoluble) active ingredients and improve their bioavailability in the body. It contains 20% phospholipids, 25% hydrolyzed proteins, and 55% triglycerides with a significant amount of healthy omega 6 and 9 fatty acids, with some omega 3s as well.
