PEL-AMPH™ CSF is a amphoteric surfactant useful in the formulation of both personal care and industrial cleaners. Due to its mildness and excellent coupling properties, PEL-AMPH™ CSF is used to couple conditioning agents in shampoos. Its ability to couple nonionic surfactants into formulations with high levels of electrolyte makes PEL-AMPH™ CSF very useful for industrial cleaners. PELAMPH CSF is suggested for products where the presence of sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems because the chloride level is essentially nil. It is stable over a broad pH range and is the surfactant of choice in high electrolyte systems.
