PEL-HIB CC220 corrosion inhibitor is an amine borate ester suitable for use with aluminum and steel substrates. Originally introduced as an alternative to nitrites, it affords the same level of protection to ferrous materials. It provides excellent rust inhibition and aids lubrication. PEL-HIB CC220 is very water soluble. In addition to its applications in metalworking fluids and coolants, cooling water and boiler operations, oil well and refinery operations, fuels, lubricants and greases, PEL-HIB CC220 also find its uses in inorganic coatings, organic coatings, and printing inks.

PEL-SIL™ CL350 is a polysiloxane with EO/PO polyether side chains. It can be used as a low foaming flow and leveling agent and wetting agent in waterborne and solvent borne coatings and inks. PEL-SIL™ CL350 is also reactive in 2K polyurethane systems as a resin and surface modifier. Other uses for PEL-SIL™ CL350 include surface tension reduction in silicone emulsions and improvement of drainage in pulp brown stock washing.

PEL-SIL™ CL340 is a nonreactive, acetate capped, silicone glycol copolymer surfactant supplied at 100 percent active concentration. It provides slip, gloss enhancement, pigment treatment and leveling for ink and coatings applications. Additionally, it provides mar resistance for coatings applications such as glossy printed materials. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is compatible with acrylic, epoxy, nitrocellulose, phenolic, polyester & polyurethane systems. With a low order of toxicity, this product acts as an anti-stick agent in printing ink applications. It is particularly useful for facilitating the slip of magazine covers over one another during printing and distribution. It is also used as a solubility aid to compatibilize blowing agents with isocyanates in the production of polyurethane foams. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is stable in neutral or mildly acidic or alkaline aqueous solutions. It Imparts anti-blocking and improves mar resistance of PU coatings. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is an effective leveling agent for synthetic leather top coatings.

PEL-SIL™ CL400 is a linear, 100% active, PEG-10 siloxane polyether. It is a slip control agent for both waterborne, solvent borne UV/EB coatings and inks. PEL-SIL™ CL400 is also a flow and leveling agent and defoamer. It may also be incorporated into polymer systems through its two primary hydroxyls in polyurethane systems.

PEL-SIL™ CL360 is a organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. It has pendant molecular structure. PEL-SIL™ CL360 is an excellent flow and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings and inks. It can also be used as defoamer or anti-foaming agent for waterborne coatings systems. It can be used at low dosage levels. For polyurethane foam coatings, PEL-SIL™ CL360 acts a surfactant and foam cell stabilizer. It is not compatible on the isocyanate side and must be added with the polyol. It exhibits excellent compatibility with most polyol premixes.

PEL-SIL™ CL290 is a organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. PEL-SIL™ CE 390 has recoatability and low tendency to foam. It is good compatibility with many resin systems. PEL-SIL™ CL290 is an excellent silicone-based additive for improving slip and mar resistance and reducing friction coefficient for solvent-borne, water-borne, and UV/EB cured coating systems. It can be used for coatings in industrial and auto, wood, and overprint vanishes and inks.

PEL-SIL™ CW300 a low molecular weight, nonionic silicone-based wetting additive that can reduce the surface tension of aqueous solutions significantly lower than conventional nonionic surfactants can. It is stable at neutral pH and compatible with other anionic surfactants and nonionic surfactants. Even at concentrations as low as 0.1 percent, PEL-SIL™ CW300 wetting additive will reduce surface tension below 22 dynes/cm. Therefore, it produces very rapid wetting and spreading on hard-to-wet surfaces. It shows an excellent and consistent performance over a wide range of substrates in various coating formulations. Its applications are found in plastic coatings, wood coatings, radiation curing coatings, automotive coatings, and printing inks, etc. PEL-SIL™ CW300 can also be used as an ingredient in pesticide products, or as a tank-mix adjuvant for foliar applied chemicals. It allows complete coverage with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agricultural chemicals. PEL-SIL™ CW300 meets the requirements of US EPA regulation 40 CFR 180.910 regarding “tolerances and exemption from tolerances for pesticide chemicals in or on raw agricultural commodities.” It is approved for both food and nonfood use.

PEL-SIL™ CD710 is a hydrophobic polyether modified organosiloxane. PEL-SIL™ CD710 minimizes foam stability and is an excellent defoamer for waterborne and solvent-based coatings and inks, and textile fiber processing applications. PEL-SIL™ CD710 is also recommended for use as a wetting agent, dispersant, and secondary emulsifier.
