- Dynasylan® HYDROSIL 2627 is a clear to slightly yellowish liquid.
- The following advantages are obtained over solution conventional organofunctional silanes:
- Increased product and processing reliability: no liberation of flammable organic constituents flash point > = 95°C
- Process flexibility: processing possible at elevated temperatures and in the vicinity of ignition sources or static charge
- Applicational advantage: in polymer systems based on water as the solvent
- Environmental protection: hydrolysis does not result in liberation of volatile organic substances

- Application Characteristics
- Dynasylan® HYDROSIL 2627 is an organosilicon compound based on water as the solvent and contains no volatile organic constituents.
- Applications:
- Surface treatment of minerals
- Glass fiber reinforcement
- Priming of glass and metal
- Surface modifier for organic materials
- Additive for water-borne polymer systems Depending on the area of application a concentration of active compound of approx. 0.5-5% may be employed. As a consequence, Dynasylan® HYDROSIL 2627 can be simply diluted with distilled water.

Recommended for :
- Steel: cold rolled steel (CRS). abraded surface 0.3 –0.6% Mn / 0.08 – 0.13% C / 0.05% S / 0.04% P
- Aluminum: alloy (3105 H 24) 96.8 – 97.4% Al / 1.0– 1.5% Mn / 0.6% Si / 0.05 –0.2% Cu
