Felix Compounds Calcium Carbonate

Calcium Carbonate is a reinforced thermoplastics that offer excellent mechanical, physical and thermal properties. When selecting the material, stiffness, resistance to shock, scratches, chemicals and UV rays, along with easy processing are some of the factors to be considered. This highly-versatile class meets a wide range of requirements, thanks to a carefully selected base (polypropylene [PP], polystyrene [PS], polyethylene [PE] and others) and a reinforced filler of mineral (CaCO3, talc, mica) or other materials (glass fiber). The addition of two fillers of different nature allows us to create products with a unique set of properties such as dimensional stability, stiffness, and attractive textures and finishes. Filled between 5 and 50%, these thermoplastic compounds demonstrate very good mechanical, UV-resistant and color-controller properties – and are a very good value in terms of quality/price.
