Camomile Flower CO2-TO Extract is a green-brown colored liquid at 40ºC with a fine camomile-like smell. Produced by supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, no inorganic salts, no solvent residues, no heavy metals and no reproducible microorganisms. Applications include antiphlogisticum, spasmolyticum, carminativum [3], in skin care products and in natural remedies.

The extract contains 10 - 20 % essential oil, mainly consisting of 20 - 45 % alpha-bisabolol, 5 - 20% bisabolol oxides, farnesene, chamazulene, cis- and trans-en-yn-dicycloether and spathulenol.The content of matricin in the extract is 0.5 - 2.5 % (analyzed via chamazulene). The extract alsocontains fat and waxes as well as small amounts of herniarine.

Traditional use:
