Ottopol KX-99
Chemical Family:
Acrylics & Acrylates
Glass Transition Temperature (Tg):
32.0 - 32.0 °C
Features:
Solvent Resistance, Water Resistance, Stain Resistance, Room Temperature Curing, Reduced Wear
Ottopol KX-99 is a hydroxyl-functional cationic acrylic solution polymer that crosslinks with polyisocyanates and epoxy silanes at room temperature. With the combination of polyisocyanate and epoxy silane, the fastest and most resistant coating can be formulated. We recommend a maximum of 20% epoxy silane and 20% polyisocyanate based on solids. This product undergoes ambient curing very quickly, and in less than one hour the film will have water resistance. Allowing the film to cure for two hours will result in a film that has over 100 double rubs of acetone resistance. Detergents and cleaners will not remove this film, and the final dried film resists staining.
Ottopol K-672
Chemical Family:
Cationics, Acrylics & Acrylates
Glass Transition Temperature (Tg):
10.0 - 10.0 °C
Features:
Water Resistance, Stain Resistance, Room Temperature Curing
Ottopol K-672 is a hydroxyl-functional cationic acrylic emulsion polymer that crosslinks with polyisocyanates and epoxy silanes at room temperature. With the combination of polyisocyanate and epoxy silane, the fastest and most resistant coating can be formulated. We recommend a maximum of 11.5% epoxy silane based on solids. Detergents and cleaners will not remove this film, and the final dried film has excellent water resistance and stain resistance.
Ottopol SF-45
Glass Transition Temperature (Tg):
39.0 - 39.0 °C
Ottopol SF-45 is a unique acrylic polymer that results in a high-density, cross-linked polymer upon drying at room temperature. Where solvent resistance is required, many coatings can be derived from this polymer. It is mainly used as a coating for wood or wooden furniture.
