Genesee Polymers GP-214

Genesee Polymers’ GP-214 SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER is a high molecular weight copolymer of silicone and polyol blocks, which is designed to act as a surface active agent in both aqueous and non-aqueous systems.GP-214 contains polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene copolymer adducts to a polydimethyl-siloxane backbone, with silicone to polyol segments joined by non-hydrolyzable silicon to carbon bonds.GP-214SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER is dispersible in water and shows solubility or dispersibility in a wide range of hydrocarbon and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.GP-214 is recommended for evaluation as a profoaming additive in plastisol and organosol formulations and in polyether type polyurethane foams.GP-214 SILICONE POLYOL COPOLYMER contains no functional groups and is chemically inert, and with a low degree of toxicity.
