Applications

Bisomer® BDDMA is a low viscosity, low odor dimethacrylate monomer. It is non-toxic and has more favorable Health & Safety labeling than many alternative products. Bisomer® BDDMA is an excellent reactive diluent in UV curable wood coatings due to its low viscosity. It is ideal in peroxide cured applications such as a co-agent for PP, PE, nitrile, EPDM rubbers and PVC. It offers excellent properties with PMMA, especially in acrylic flooring and synthetic marble. Bisomer® BDDMA is used in photopolymers, wire and cable coatings, adhesives and sealants. It also offers excellent compatibility with unsaturated polyesters for gel-coats, chemical fixings and anchor bolts.
