GP® CK-2103 resin is a novolac resin modifier for alkyd and epoxy air dry coatings designed to improve water resistance, hardness, gloss and adhesion. Coatings made with GP CK-2103 resin dry faster than those made with GP CK-2432 resin and will darken on drying.

GP CK-2103 coating resin is compliant with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) according to Title 21 CFR §175.105, §175.300, §176.180, §177.1210 and, §176.170 as resinous and polymeric coatings.

  • GP CK-2103 resin is non heat-reactive and shipped in bags. It should be stored in a dry location at temperatures at or below 25°C (77°F). Storage in sunlight should be avoided. Resin storage life under the recommended conditions is two years, possibly longer dependent on your product’s formulation using GP CK-2103 resin. This product should be stored and used in areas with good ventilation.
