GMS Composites EP-282

GMS Composites EP-282 is a formulated epoxy resin matrix prepreg with long shelf life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 80°C or as high as 150°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-282 is a resin film available on a lightweight scrim or without a scrim. The EP-282 resin is compatible with GMS Composites pre-pregs. The resin film has good flow and the tack of EP-282 can be varied.

Applications

EP-282 was designed as a resin film layer, used with EP280 pre-pregs, but can also be used with other GMS Composite prepregs in the range. EP-282 was designed to be used as a film in the construction of sandwich structures. The versatility of EP-282 and EP-280 means large complex structures as well as small basic components can be produced.
