GranLux® AOX-G3 is an anti-oxidant extract from the wood of the Norway Spruce. The tree is growing in abundancy without cultivation in the northern parts of Scandinavia. Picea Excelsa Extract is very rich in lignans; polyphenolic compounds having proven strong free radical scavenging properties against a multitude of different free radical reactions.
GranLux® AOX-G3 is heat stable at any temperatures occuring in normal cosmetic processes. Trees have not been harvested in order to obtain the material.
