Granlux® GAI-60 Melanin Mimic Melanin Mimic is a dispersion of Dimethicone and Alumina coated Titaniumdioxide, Titanium Dioxide white pigment and Iron oxides dispersed with Polyglyceryl-4-isostearate and Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone into Hexyl laurate and Isononyl isononanoate. The GAI-60 Melanin Mimic UVA/UVB curve minics the the natural melanine curve, ie equal UVA and UVB protection.. The product is not transparent on skin but invisible when the skin color is matched.

GranLux GAI-60 Melanin Mimic is used in W/O emulsions to produce creams and lotions with high UVA/UVB-protection..It contains W/O emulsifier. You can add it to w/o emulsions to increase the UVA and UVB protection and to reduce the whitning effect.
