Characterization

Intumescent flame retardant masterbatch based on phosphorus and nitrogen synergism, cnntaining high level of flame retardant, which can be molded by injection and extrusion directly by simply mixing with other resins. It is designed for PP and PE ' especially suitable for continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites, including SMT, GMT, LFT and CFRTP. It offers high flame retardancy and can be widely used by many different processes.

Applications

JLS-MB is developed for polyolefins. It can be molded by injection and extrusion directly by simply mixing with other resins and provides the advantages of shorten production period and saving energy. Compare to the common powder of flame retardant, it provides better dispersibility and processability. JLS-MB is especially recommended for the high requirement of non-halogen FR applications like sheets, pipes, WPC, the continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites, including unidirectional tapes and structural sandwich panels due to its excellent dispersibility, high flowability and proc.essibility.

PE        UL94V-0(3.2mm),            L0l30%            at 34-38 (MB22C)
GF PP  UL94V-O(3.2mm),           L0l30%            at  24-26 (MB32B)

Regarding sheets, pipes, WPC, the continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites for unidirectional
tapes and structural sandwich panel applications, JLS-MB is usually sufficient to obtain LOI 26-40% and
