- Diluting the Antifoam
AF-100 FG can be used as is or diluted prior to use. Dilution or dispersion in either a solvent or the foaming media provides an excellent means of incorporating low concentrations of defoamer into a non-aqueous system. Such dilution or dispersion also provides greater ease of handling and more effective use of the silicone.
- Processing Guidelines
This antifoam is effective in very low concentrations. One to 50 parts of antifoam per million parts foamer are sufficient to suppress most foams. When evaluating, it is suggested that the evaluation be started at 10 ppm silicone solids.
