Product Applications
  • HD-2001 may be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions.
  • Viscosity modification can be made with associative thickeners for application by spray, knife-over-roll, or other methods.
Product Uses
  • HD-2001 was designed for use in textile applications that require a soft hand coupled with abrasion resistance, excellent adhesion and excellent resiliency. This versatile urethane is ideally suited for use as a finish for nylon and polyester threads and as a coating for nylon and vinyl substrates.
  • HD-2001 is also suitable for textile-coating applications that require excellent low temperature flex crack resistance.
  • The low melt temperature also allows HD2001 to be used as a heat-sealable coating. When properly formulated, HD2001 can be used as a coating for awning fabrics, boat cover fabrics, and other architectural fabrics.

Curing

Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties. Do not use crosslinking agents for heat-seal coating applications.
