Hauthane HD-3810 is an aliphatic, polyurethane topcoat which produces a soft, rubbery feel at low gloss levels.

HD-3810 is designed to impart a soft, rich textured coating on surfaces such as paper board, plastic films, molded rigid plastic parts and other smooth surfaces.

Product Applications
  • HD-3810 may be used alone or in combination with other polyurethane dispersion resins or additives.
  • It may be applied by rotogravure, wire wound rod and spray.

Curing
  • HD-3810 can be air-dried. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
  • HD-3810 may be crosslinked with carbodiimides, water-dispersible isocyanates or polyaziridines to further enhance performance properties.
