  • L-3415 may be applied by spray or gravure methods.
  • Films must be dried completely before UV energy cure.
  • UV irradiation is required to attain optimal film properties, but un-cured coating films are durable enough for handling or walking on prior to curing.

Technical Details & Test Data

Curing
  • L-3415 must be air-dried, or oven dried to remove water from the film prior to UV exposure.
  • A photo-initiator must be incorporated into the coating formulation for effective curing.
  • See starting point formulations for suggestions.
  • Exposure guidelines: MPMA lamp - 300 watts/in² , 2.0 - 3.0 second dwell time.
