Features & Benefits

Product Highlights
  • Improves wetting, spreading, deposition and canopy penetration
  • Excellent penetration of leaf tissue
  • Designed for aerial or low-volume applications of insecticides and fungicides
General Information
  • AD-SPRAY™ 101 is a specially formulated non-ionic wetter/spreader surfactant. AD-SPRAY™ 101 is designed to improve the application efficiency of pesticide sprays by modifying contact, wetting and spreading of the sprays and can be used with a broad range of equipment. Optimum application effects, however, can be influenced by the crop, pest, spray equipment, spray volume, pressure, droplet size, spray mixture and environmental factors. Consequently, it is recommended that careful observation of the spray deposit be made and adjuvant concentrations be adjusted accordingly.

Applications & Uses

Directions for Use
  • The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may cause phytotoxity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of AD-SPRAY™ 101 to spray tank mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial.
  • AD-SPRAY™ 101 can be applied with ground, aerial or CDA spray equipment. For most applications, use enough AD-SPRAY™ 101 to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto leaf and stem surfaces without undue runoff.
  • Ground: Herbicides ½-4 pints per 100 gallons. Insecticides, Acaracides, Fungicides 1-2 pints per 100 gallons.
  • Aerial: ½-2 pints per 100 gallons. For use with flood or overhead irrigation water: For flood irrigation, make a solution of 1 pint per 100 gallons of spray and apply the solution over the soil surface, spraying wet. For overhead irrigation, add
  • AD-SPRAY™ 101 directly into the irrigation water from a calibrated injection system. Use 1 pint per 100 gallons of water.
  • NOTE: The above use recommendations are considered to be adequate for most uses. Some pesticides, however, may require higher or lower rates for optimum effect. Follow the pesticide(s) label(s) directions when this occurs.
Mixing Guidelines

Prior to any pesticide application all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide(s) label(s).

  • Fill spray tank with water and begin agitation.
  • Add the AD-SPRAY™ 101 to the spray tank and mix for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add pesticides as directed by labeling or in the following sequence:
  1. Dry flowables or water dispersible granules
  2. Wettable powders
  3. Flowables
  4. Solutions
  5. Emulsifiable concentrates

and continue agitation.
