General Information
  • AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS incorporates the properties of a nonionic wetter/spreader surfactant when used in pesticidal spray mixtures. AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS is designed to quickly wet and spread a more uniform spray deposit over leaf and stem surfaces. AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS can positively affect pesticide spray application and pesticide efficacy. AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS is recommended for use with those pesticides whose label recommends a wetter/spreader type adjuvant or a nonionic surfactant.

Applications & Uses

Directions for Use
  • NOT FOR AQUATIC USE FOR USE WITH PRODUCTS REGISTERED FOR: AGRICULTURAL, FORESTRY, INDUSTRIAL, MUNICIPAL, NON-CROPLAND, ORNAMENTAL, RIGHTS-OF-WAYS, TURF AND OTHER USES.
  • The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS to spray mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial or must take the recommendations from the labels of the products to be tank mixed. For most applications, use enough AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto leaf surfaces without undue runoff.
  • General Use: Use 1-4 pints per 100 gallons of spray.
  • Note: The above use recommendations are considered to be adequate for most uses. Some pesticides, however, may require higher or lower rates for optimum effect. Follow the pesticide label directions when this occurs.
  • AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS lowers the surface tension of water and improves the wetting and spreading action of water used in mechanical cotton pickers to wet the picking spindles. Cotton Pickers: Use 4 oz. of AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS per 25 gallons of water in picker tank. Gins: Use 1 pint of AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS in 100 gallons of water for restoring moisture to cotton.
  • Note: For both of the above applications, add AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS to the mixing tank when it is about one half full. Continue filling and mix thoroughly to ensure uniform distribution.
Mixing Guidelines
  • Prior to any pesticide application all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide label. Fill spray tank one-half full with water and begin agitation. Add pesticides as directed by labeling or in the following sequence
  1. Dry flowables or water dispersible granules.
  2. Wettable powders
  3. 3.Flowables
  4. 4.Solutions
  5. 5.Emulsifiable concentrates

and continue filling. Add AD-SPRAY™ 90 NIS last and continue agitation.
