Helena Agri-Enterprises Clasp (HAE)

Helena Agri-Enterprises Clasp (HAE) is an effective drift control agent in a convenient, ready-to-use (RTU) formulation. The polymers in Clasp are pre-swelled, resulting in easier mixing and fewer compatibility problems than conventional drift reduction agents. Clasp contains no petroleum solvents and is safe to crops.

Features & Benefits

Product Highlights
  • Rapid availability of applied nutrients allows for quicker plant response
  • Superior quality with proper chelation for mixing with pesticides
  • Formulated with extra manganese
  • Increased tank mix stability
  • Easy to use
General Information
  • CLASP® is an effective, easy-to-use, adjuvant for deposition improvement and drift retardation in spraying operations. CLASP® is compatible with most water solubleand wettable powder pesticides, desiccants, and cotton defoliants when applied by aerial or standard ground application.
  • NOTE:The degree of drift hazard varies with the type of pesticide, application conditions, and vegetation near the sprayed area. Remember, pesticide drift is no accident. Common sense and sound application technology must be followed when spraying pesticides. CLASP®will retard, but not totally eliminate drift.

Applications & Uses

Directions for Use
  • REFER TO PESTICIDE LABEL FOR SPECIFIC CROP USE AND APPLICATION RATES. Prior to use, read and follow all directions on this label and on the label of the pesticide being used. The pesticide manufacturer’s label for specific usages and restrictions have precedence over Directions for Use referred to on this label. Fill the spray tank half to three quarters full, add pesticide components, and provide good agitation. Select proper dosage from Dosage Chart and add CLASP®. If additional surfactants or spray adjuvants are to be used, they should be added after CLASP®. Continue agitation until tank is full.
  • SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
  • Not for aquatic use
  1. Step 1:Select correct CLASP® dosage from chart below.
  2. Step 2:Shake CLASP® before using. For optimum results, add wettable powder pesticides before CLASP®. Add liquid pesticides after CLASP®. When using liquid micronutrients, jar tests for compatibility and order of addition are strongly recommended. Wetter-spreaders may be added before or after CLASP®.CLASP®should be added to the agitating tank mix. For tanks with weak agitation, add CLASP®during the tank filling operation
  3. Step 3:Continue to agitate the mix tank before use

Uses

USE PRECAUTIONS :

  • Sound application technology must be followed when spraying pesticides.CLASP® can improve deposition of pesticides in the target swath and can retard, but not totally eliminate drift
  • Spray equipment should be rinsed. Follow all clean-up precautions on label of pesticide used. Follow all recommended governmental procedures for disposal of pesticide spray solutions

AFTER USE

  • Spray equipment should be rinsed. Follow all clean-up precautions on label of pesticide used. Follow all recommended governmental procedures for disposal of pesticide spray solutions.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Disposal
  • Store in original container only. Keep container tightlyclosed, do not allow water to be introduced into the contents of this container. Do not contaminate water sources by runoff from cleaning of equipment, disposal of equipment washwaters or spray waste.Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal
  • Do not store near heat or open flame
  • CONTAINER DISPOSAL:NON-REFILLABLE CONTAINER DISPOSAL:Do not reuse empty container. Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading and add rinsate to spray tank. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal. The Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) operates the national recycling program. To contact your State and local ACRC recycler, visit the ACRC web page at www.acrecycle.org.Decontaminated containers may also be disposed of in a sanitary landfill. For help in chemical emergencies involving spill, leak, fire or exposure, call toll free 1-800-424-9300.
  • REFILLABLE CONTAINER:Refill this container with adjuvants only.Do not reuse this container for any other purpose. Cleaning the container before final disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning before refilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining contents from the container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percent full with water. Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for 2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or rinsate collection system. Repeat this rinsing procedure two more times. If the container is not being refilled, return the container to the point of purchase
