General Information
  • HYPER-ACTIVE® is a spray adjuvant designed to specifically enhance the activity of insecticides, fungicides, and miticides by improving the deposition, retention, and wetting of spray application mixtures that contain them. These spray coverage and deposition improvements are applicable to both plant and pest surfaces. When used at recommended rates, HYPER-ACTIVE®can positively affect pesticide spray application and pesticide efficacy. Optimum application effects, however, can be influenced by the crop, pest, spray equipment, spray volume, pressure, droplet size, spray mixture, and environmental factors. Consequently, it is recommended that careful observations of the spray deposit be made and adjuvant concentration adjusted accordingly.

Applications & Uses

Application Technique
Directions for Use
  • FOR USE WITH INSECTICIDES, FUNGICIDES AND MITICIDES REGISTERED FOR: AGRICULTURAL, FORESTRY, INDUSTRIAL, MUNICIPAL, ORNAMENTAL, RIGHTS-OF-WAY, TURF, NON-CROPLAND, AND OTHER USES.
  • In all applications of HYPER-ACTIVE®, read and follow directions on the pesticide(s) label(s) as to procedures, dosage rates, timing of applications, and restrictions for the crop on which the pesticide is to be applied. HYPER-ACTIVE® can increase the activity of some pesticides.
  • The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of HYPER-ACTIVE®to spray mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial or must take the recommendations from the labels of products to be tank mixed. The use of test areas is recommended when applying during periods of high humidity or high temperature or to other situations where field experience is limited.
  • HYPER-ACTIVE®may be applied by ground, Controlled Droplet Applicators (CDA), or aerial spray equipment. For most applications, use enough HYPER-ACTIVE®to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto leaf surfaces without undue runoff. GROUND (Dilute & Concentrate), AERIAL, CDA: Use 1 to 2 pints per 100 gallons of spray (0.125-0.25% v/v).
  • NOTE: The above use recommendations are considered to be adequate for most uses. Some fungicides, insecticides, and miticides, however, may recommend or require higher or lower rates for optimum effect. Follow the pesticide(s) label(s) directions when this occurs.
Mixing Guidelines

Prior to any pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be thoroughly cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide(s) label(s).

  1. Fill spray tank one-half full with water and begin agitation.
  2. Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by manufacturer's label or in the following sequence:
  • Micronutrients and fertilizers
  • Dry flowables or water dispersible granules
  • Flowable
  • Water soluble pesticides
  • Emulsifiable concentrates
  1. Continue agitation and complete filling of the spray tank.
  2. Add HYPER-ACTIVE® last and continue agitation.

Do not mix HYPER-ACTIVE® with undiluted pesticides.
