Receptor is a High Surfactant Oil Concentrate (HSOC), combines methylated seed oils (MSO) and nonionic surfactants (NIS) in one container. Designed for use with herbicides that require an oil or surfactant, Duce is a 60/40 MSO-based product, compatible with multiple tank mix partners. It is a soy oil-based product that spreads better than a standard MSO. Duce also helps improve spray tank clean-out.

    General Information
    • Re-Duce® is a combination of ammonium sulfate, nonionic surfactant, and water conditioning agents designed to enhance the efficacy and application of herbicides. Re-Duce® is recommended for use with those herbicides that have label recommendations for including ammonium sulfate and nonionic surfactant. Re-Duce® is also capable of correcting water quality problems due to hardness, alkaline pH, and carbonates.

    Applications & Uses

    Applicable Crop
    Directions for Use
    • OT FOR AQUATIC USE. In all applications of Re-Duce®, read and follow the directions on the pesticide(s) label as to procedures, dosage rates, timing of application and restrictions for the crop on which the pesticide is to be applied. Re-Duce® can increase the activity of some pesticides. The use of a test area is recommended when applying during periods of high humidity, high temperatures or other situations where field experience is limited. The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides, crop nutritionals and other spray mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of Re-Duce® to any spray mix, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial or must take the recommendations from the labels of the products with which it is to be mixed.
    Recommended Uses Rate
    • RE-DUCE® applied at the rate of 2.5 gallons per 100 gallons of water provides the equivalent of 8.5# of Ammonium Sulfate and 2 pints of nonionic surfactant, and water conditioning. Use higher or lower rates depending on the amount of Ammonium Sulfate or nonionic surfactant that is needed.
    Mixing Guidelines

Prior to any pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be thoroughly cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide label.

    • Fill spray tank one-half full with water and begin agitation.
    • Add Re-Duce®.
    • Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by manufacturer’s label or in the following sequence:
    1. Micronutrients and fertilizers
    2. Dry Flowables or water dispersible granules
    3. Flowables
    4. Water-soluble pesticides
    5. Emulsifiable concentrates
    • Continue agitation and complete filling of spray tank.
    • Do not mix Re-Duce® with undiluted pesticides. Terminology on this label is consistent with the definitions approved by subcommittee E-35.22 on Pesticide Formulations and Application Systems under the jurisdiction of ASTM Subcommittee E-35.

    Storage & Handling

    Storage and Disposal
    • Store in original container only. Keep container tightly closed, do not allow water to be introduced into the contents of this container. Do not contaminate water sources by runoff from cleaning of equipment, disposal of equipment washwaters or spray waste. Do not store near heat or open flame.
    • CONTAINER DISPOSAL: NON-REFILLABLE CONTAINER DISPOSAL:Do not reuse empty container. Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading and add rinsate to spray tank. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal. The Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) operates the national recycling program. To contact your State and local ACRC recycler, visit the ACRC web page at www.acrecycle.org. Decontaminated containers may also be disposed of in a sanitary landfill. For help in chemical emergencies involving spill, leak, fire or exposure, call toll free 1-800-424-9300.
    • REFILLABLE CONTAINER:Refill this container with adjuvants only. Do not reuse this container for any other purpose. Cleaning the container before final disposal is the responsibility of the person disposing of the container. Cleaning before refilling is the responsibility of the refiller. To clean the container before final disposal, empty the remaining contents from the container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10 percent full with water. Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for 2 minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or rinsate collection system. Repeat this rinsing procedure two more times. If the container is not being refilled, return the container to the point of purchase.
