- Applications
- Typical Areas of Application
► Coating of cast iron molds in ingot casting
► Coating of dummy blocks, container sealings and shear blades in Aluminum extrusion
► Lubricant and release agent in hot forming processes- Typical Areas of Application
► Coating of cast iron molds in ingot casting
► Coating of dummy blocks, container sealings and shear blades in Aluminum extrusion
► Lubricant and release agent in hot forming processes- Recommendations for Processing
► Applied by painting and spraying
► Stir / shake coating prior to use
► If required the coating can be diluted with little water
► Apply on clean, dust and oil free surfaces
► Apply in thin and covering layers to ensure good surface adhesion
► Spraying onto warm surfaces (150-200°C) improves the spray result and shortens the drying time
► Re-coat as and when required
► Ensure HeBoCoat® PL-W 130 has fully dried before allowing it to come into contact with the melt
► Brushes and tools can be cleaned with water
