HeBoCoat® PL-W 130 is a pure, water-based and ready-to-use Boron Nitride coating with inorganic binders for high temperature processes. It is particulary suited for use in aluminum casting processes.

► Prevents adhesion of molten metal to refractory parts and tools
► Inorganic binder provides good surface adhesion
► Can be applied to hot metal surfaces up to 500°C
► Temperature resistant, up to 900°C in air

Recommendations for Processing

► Applied by painting and spraying
► Stir / shake coating prior to use
► If required the coating can be diluted with little water
► Apply on clean, dust and oil free surfaces
► Apply in thin and covering layers to ensure good surface adhesion
► Spraying onto warm surfaces (150-200°C) improves the spray result and shortens the drying time
► Re-coat as and when required
► Ensure HeBoCoat® PL-W 130 has fully dried before allowing it to come into contact with the melt
► Brushes and tools can be cleaned with water
