Micral® AM550 is an ATH ultra fine product designed for thermoplastics, thermoset composites, latex coatings and rubber applications requiring a fine particle size coupled with a narrow particle size distribution. The narrow particle size distribution imparts a low surface area to Micral AM550 which can be important for formulation stability. Micral AM550 provides an economical approach to flame retardant and smoke suppression in applications such as urethane foam, unsaturated polyester resin, PVC, SBR belting, EPDM, EPR, adhesives, coatings, ABS, polyolefins and XLPE.
