HALOX® XTAIN® L-47 is a liquid stain-inhibiting additive that is zinc-free, ammonia-free, and free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Specifically formulated to prevent tannin bleed, it is highly effective in waterborne coating systems such as acrylic emulsions and polyurethane dispersions (PUD) used on various wood species, including redwood, merbau, and oak. This advanced additive delivers exceptional performance while meeting European ecolabel requirements, as it does not rely on Zn2+ cations. HALOX® 630 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for solventborne protective coatings on metal surfaces and may be used in solventborne clear or pigmented coatings and in systems such as 2 pack epoxy systems, high solids epoxy esters, and alkyds, acrylic resins, and 2 pack polyurethane primers. In bake systems, the temperature should not exceed 150° C. Yellowing may be observed with reactive isocyanates. Superior corrosion resistance has been observed over poorly prepared surfaces, such as adherent rust or oil contamination.

HALOX® 515 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for high gloss (direct to metal) coating systems and will provide cost-effective flash rust protection and long-term corrosion protection when used as recommended. HALOX® 515 is also effective for thin film applications (<2 mils). HALOX® 515 is heavy metal-free, nitrite-free, and contains no chromates or phosphates. Testing with HALOX® 515 has shown improved adhesion at the scribe and good humidityresistance. Testing has also shown HALOX® 515 to be effective as a flash rust inhibitor on weld seams.
