HALOX® Corrosion Inhibitors are effective against flash rusting and in-can corrosion, though the benefits of using these products does not end there. Our HALOX® Corrosion Inhibitors are ideally suited for high gloss, thin film, and clear coat applications. They also provide superior synergy when used in combination with inorganic corrosion inhibitors in traditional coatings. To achieve desired performance of your resin system proper selection of HALOX® Inhibitors is essential.


HALOX

LOPON® defoamers are highly effective solutions for interior and exterior emulsion paints and plasters, silicone resin paints, emulsion silicate paints and plasters, and adhesives. LOPON® E series defoamers are alternatives to silicone and mineral oil based products. Our selection includes products developed from bio-renewable raw materials.

TARGON

TARGON® G 5 is a secondary retarder derived from condensed phosphates. It presents as a white, fine, non-hygroscopic powder, serving as a secondary retarder element for pre-mixed gypsum plaster. This product exerts a dispersing influence on the plaster's solid components. It ensures consistent setting and extends the interval for manipulation between cutting and felting stages. TARGON® G 5 further enhances the final treatment characteristics.

HALOX® BW-100 is a white, nonrefractive, tannin stain-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems and has been specifically designed as a tannin stain inhibitor, providing performance and compatibility in a variety of resin systems such as acrylic latexes, vinyl acrylic latexes, styrenated acrylic latexes, and solventborne alkyds.

LOPON® E 100 is a defoamer for glossy paints that is VOC-, mineral oil-, and silicone-free. It is designed to provide a high gloss on the paint surface while offering a long-term effect. With its wide range of applications, this product exhibits excellent compatibility with various types of emulsions. Additionally, it boasts low sedimentation, ensuring smooth and consistent performance.


LOPON® E 100

HALOX® 550 is a liquid organic-inorganic sol-gel corrosion inhibitor designed for corrosion protection in thin film coatings such as water and solvent-based finishes, high gloss DTM, conventional primers, acrylic clear coats, fast-drying lacquers, wash primers, anti-fingerprint coatings, and conversion coatings. It also increases hydrophobicity and is pH stable, making it compatible with both waterborne and solventborne coatings.

HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor, HALOX® 570, which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2-component epoxy, water-reducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in both water-based primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 LS has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.

POLYRON® 322 NEW is a white, hygroscopic agglomerate dispersing agent designed for use in emulsion paints, plasters, and adhesives. Its dispersing action ensures that an optimal particle size is rapidly achieved, making it best suited as a dispersing agent for waterborne paints, especially emulsion paints. POLYRON® 322 NEW slows down sedimentation, reduces water hardness, and has a good binding capacity with respect to calcium and heavy metal ions.

LOPON® E 81 is a light yellow, opaque, and viscous defoamer for use in paints and plasters. It is VOC, mineral oil, and silicone-free and provides good processing properties, compatibility with different binders, and a long-term effect. It does not negatively affect the storage stability of the final product and conforms to Ecolabel, BfR XIV, and FDA regulations.

HALOX® 650 is an organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces. It is specifically formulated for use in solvent-borne or powder-coating applications to provide long-term corrosion protection. HALOX® 650 can be used in a variety of applications, including coil coatings, resins such as thermoplastic acrylics or epoxies, powder coating systems such as polyester or TGIC, acid-catalyzed thermosetting systems such as melamine or urea-formaldehyde, and wash (etch) primers based on PVB.

HALOX® 700 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coatings. It provides extended protection in solvent-based and water-based epoxy and urethane coatings through the combination of zinc and aluminum phosphates. When used in alkyd and acrylic coatings, it is recommended to use it in combination with HALOX® Organic Corrosion Inhibitors for optimal performance.
