Technical Information

• Flexisurf COS-37 is a versatile, natural feedstock based surfactant for use as an ingredient in renewably sourced cleaning formulations.
• Glycerin is a well known humectant in cosmetics and personal care products. Other functions that have been reported for glycerin include: hair conditioning agent, skin protectant, skin conditioning agent - humectant, viscosity decreasing agent, and oral care agent.
• Suggested applications include Household and Industrial Cleaners and Personal Care formulations.

Formulary

Naturally derived, coconut oil-based product. Flexisurf COS-37 is an environmentally responsible ingredient for soaps, personal care products, and cleaners. Formulations should be based on deionized water, or use treated water such as with sodium citrate.

Addition of a preservative should be considered for packaged dilutions, as needed. Preservatives should be selected and evaluated by the formulator to determine use concentration, effectiveness, and formulation stability. Contact your preservative supplier for guidance and recommendations.
