SperseStab™ 5153 is a mid-weight hindered amine light stabilizer with excellent permanence and compatibility with various filled systems, including carbon black, talc, CaCO3, Mg(OH)2, and others. This cost-effective product is ideal for roofing membranes, exterior packaging, and machine parts. The use of filled systems is becoming increasingly popular due to their structural, economic, and processing advantages. SperseStab™ 5153 can be used alone or in combination with other additives, including antioxidants, hindered amine light stabilizers, and UV absorbers. Other potential applications include filled nylon systems with SperseStab™ 5153 alone or in conjunction with other antioxidants.

SperseStab™ 5153 is ideal for the light stabilization of TPO roofing, offering excellent compatibility with Mg(OH)₂ and ATH. In Carbon black filled membranes and geotextiles, the addition of SperseStab™ 5153 appears to not be absorbed into the carbon black like other types of HALS and antioxidants allowing for greater thermal and UV stability.
