DYTEK® A amine (2-methylpentamine-1,5-diamine) is a methyl branched diamine with differential reactivity of each amine group that allows for crystallinity disruption in various applications such as high temperature nylon and polyamides, polyurethane chain extenders, and epoxy hardeners.

It is also used in applications such as water treatment, corrosion inhibition, and metalworking fluids where amine functionality and pH control are important. DYTEK®A has 93% recycle content. DYTEK® DCH-99 (1,2-diamainecyclohexane) is a cyclic aliphatic diamine made of 100% reclaimed material that is used primarily in epoxy coatings and composites. It provides chemical resistance over a broad range of chemicals, which makes it a superior choice for industrial and marine coatings. Other applications include mining, oil &amp; gas, and pharmaceutical intermediates.

DYTEK® BHMT (bis-hexamethylene triamine) is a long chain triamine that is used as a binder in asphalt, as a phosphonate scavenger and flocculant in oil & gas applications, and as a hardener in epoxy coating and adhesive applications.

DYTEK® BHMT HP (bis-hexamethylene triamine) is a high purity (>95%) triamine that is used in applications where purity is critical such as phosphonate scavenger and flocculant in oil & gas applications and as a hardener in epoxy coating and adhesive applications.

DYTEK®2PN (2-pentenenitrile) is a unsaturated short chain nitrile that double bond makes it well suited as a chemical building block. DYTEK® 2PN is a co-product from the production of adiponitrile and offers economic alternative to many applications where adiponitrile may not be an economical alternative and may be used as an alternative to acrylonitrile in some chemistries. Current derivatives of DYTEK®2PN go into the agricultural and pharmaceutical markets.

Dytek® 2PN

DYTEK® HMD (hexamethylene diamine) is a highly pure (>99.9%) aliphatic diamine. DYTEK® HMD is used in the production of Nylon polymers, isocyanates, polyamide resins and adhesives. Other applications include water treatment, UV stabilizers, scale and corrosion inhibitors, and petroleum additives. This product is available as an anhydrous that is solid at room temperature and can be shipped as a warm liquid or diluted aqueous solution.

DYTEK® 2M3BN (2-methyl-3-butenitrile) is an unsaturated nitrile that is used as a chemical intermediate used in flavors and fragrances, dyes, and rubber and polymer applications.

Adi-Pure® Adipic acid (hexanedioic acid) is a dicarboxylic acid that is predominately used in the production of nylon 6,6. Other applications include uses as a monomer for polyurethanes and polyamides, and a raw material for plasticizers, wet strength paper resins, copolymer adhesives and binders, and more.
